Is it permissible for a woman to ask for divorce from her husband who does not fulfill her right to intimacy, and would she then be considered among those who will not smell the fragrance of Paradise?

If the husband fulfills his religious duties towards his wife, it is not permissible for her to seek divorce, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without any strong reason, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her." And if the wife's request for intercourse is beyond what is customary, then it is not permissible for her to do so. However, if the husband has a defect or illness that prevents intercourse, then it is permissible for his wife to seek divorce.
