Is it permissible to request a divorce due to an inability to accept the husband's intimate relations in bed?

A woman is legally prohibited from seeking a divorce from her husband without a legitimate reason. A severe warning has been issued against those who do so. It is forbidden for her to seek a divorce merely because she dislikes cohabiting with her husband, unless this leads to harm. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without a sound reason, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her." A woman should not hasten to seek divorce, even if it is legally permissible for her to do so. She must respond to her husband for intimacy unless she has a legitimate excuse.
