How can a girl be convinced of the necessity of ending an unlawful relationship without falling into immorality, and what is the ruling on money taken from her, and must it be returned?

Islam forbids any relationship between a man and a woman who are not married through a legitimate Islamic marriage. This relationship must be severed because it is one of Satan's steps that lead to immorality and wrongdoing, as Allah Almighty warned: "O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against the temptation of women, saying: "I have not left behind me a temptation more harmful to men than women," and "Indeed, this world is sweet and green, and Allah has made you successors in it, and He is watching how you act. So, beware of the world and beware of women, for the first temptation of the Children of Israel was concerning women."

One must hasten to repent and abandon the sin. As for the money taken: if it was a gift, there is no need to return it. If it was a loan, it must be returned. However, if it was for the sake of forbidden acts and to cement a forbidden relationship, then it must be spent on the general welfare of Muslims and on the poor and needy. It is not permissible to benefit from it or return it to her.
