Lexically, homeland is the place where a person lives and resides. Terminologically, it is the country inhabited by a nation to which one feels connected and belongs, or it is the piece of land where a group of people is born and settles, and this piece of land forms a permanent nurturing environment for the individuals of the group, both independently and collectively.
