What is the definition of a homeland, and is the country of residence considered a second homeland for an individual?

The homeland is of three types: the original homeland (the homeland of birth, qualification, or naturalization), the homeland of residence (where a person goes with the intention of staying, thereby ending the ruling of travel), and the homeland of dwelling (a place where one intends to stay for less than the period that ends the ruling of travel). The jurists agree on the principle but differ on the duration of residence that ends the ruling of travel. The preferred view is that whoever stays in a city for four days or more is considered a resident and cannot avail himself of the concessions for travelers.
