What is the religious ruling on a wife being required to work for five years in a boys' school with a bad reputation, to guarantee a retirement pension after 15 years of work, while the husband refuses this? And what is the ruling on the money she would receive from this work or pension?

If the wife stipulated working at the time of the marriage contract or if custom dictates it, then the husband does not have the right to prevent her, unless the work is forbidden or leads to her neglecting her duties, such as caring for her children. However, if this was not agreed upon, then the husband has the right to prevent her, and she must obey him. A woman teaching men without a barrier is forbidden due to the potential for fitna (temptation/strife), and the husband has the right to prevent his wife from doing it, even if she stipulated working. If she insists on this type of work, she is sinful from two angles: the prohibition of the work and disobedience to her husband. Moreover, receiving a pension does not justify engaging in what is forbidden. The husband should treat his wife kindly and reassure her, and indeed, Allah Almighty has guaranteed provision.
