Is money earned from a tender that was won due to prior knowledge of competitors' prices, because one of the employees had access to the submitted bids, considered unlawful (haram) money?

The tender (bid) is permissible in Islamic law and is subject to the rulings of auctioning. It is a process aimed at selecting the cheapest bid for a commodity or service. Disclosing confidential tender offers to submit a lower price is considered an unlawful transgression, due to the harm it causes to the requesting entity and to the competitors. Repentance and seeking forgiveness for this act are obligatory, and one must not cooperate in sin and aggression. However, if the bid is chosen, the contract concluded, and the work performed as required, then the earnings resulting from it are lawful.
