Will a person be held accountable for their bad deeds on the Day of Judgment if their good deeds outweigh them?

The weighing of deeds is one of the positions on the Day of Resurrection that must be believed in. The texts of revelation indicate that whoever's good deeds outweigh their bad deeds will enter Paradise, and whoever's bad deeds outweigh their good deeds will enter Hell, as Allah the Almighty says: "Then as for him whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], He will be in a pleasing life. But as for him whose scales are light, His mother will be a bottomless pit." The weighing of deeds will occur after the reckoning to show their magnitudes, and the recompense will be according to them. This applies to those whom Allah deals with according to His justice. Otherwise, Allah's grace is vast, and His mercy may encompass those who are drowned in sins, as long as they were not polytheists: "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills."
