Is it permissible to purchase smart devices from the Internet that contain gold in their internal parts?

Many scholars have permitted men to use a small amount of gold if it is secondary and not standalone, such as its presence in the internal mechanisms of a watch or in its hands, because its ruling is subordinate to what it is attached to. Ibn Taymiyyah went on to say that this opinion is stronger, citing Mu'awiyah's hadith: "He forbade gold except in قطع (cut pieces/fragments)." If wearing a small amount of gold is not considered extravagance, then there is no harm in it.
