This has been established by authentic hadiths. This matter is agreed upon by scholars, and no dissent has been reported from any of them. Consensus is infallible. Aisha reaching the age of nine does not warrant disapproval, as the age of puberty varies according to race and climate, and some women reach puberty at an early age. It is incumbent upon anyone who speaks on these matters to do so with knowledge and fairness, and to avoid anomalous statements that no scholar has ever made before.
