What is the ruling on one who considers entering upon a woman before puberty to be a corrupt ruling, and interprets the Quranic verses and actions of the Messenger in a way that suits his opinion, and describes the understanding of the Salaf regarding the verse as flawed, and faults Al-Bukhari, Ibn Abd al-Barr, and Ibn Taymiyyah in this matter?

The man who denies the prophetic narration of the Prophet's marriage to Aisha when she was nine years old, and interprets the Quran and claims a consensus contrary to what respected scholars have stated, has committed a great wrongdoing. The narration of the Prophet's marriage to Aisha is authentically established in the Two Sahihs (Bukhari and Muslim), and scholars have unanimously agreed on the permissibility for a father to marry off his young virgin daughter. Although Ibn Hazm narrated a dissenting opinion from Ibn Shubruma that a father should not marry off his young daughter until she reaches puberty, he did not reject Aisha's story but rather considered it a special case. However, this is refuted by the verses of the Quran and the narrations of the Companions. The actual consummation of marriage depends on the woman's capability and readiness for it, which varies from one woman to another, though it is generally the case that a nine-year-old girl is fit for it. The one who has uttered such words must repent to Allah, and it is necessary to beware of following him and others like him.
