How authentic is the Hadith that mentions five things the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) advised Ali ibn Abi Talib to do before sleeping, and how can they be performed with easy alternatives?

The aforementioned hadith has not been found in the sources of hadith. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen issued a fatwa stating that it is a fabricated lie against the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it is not permissible to attribute it to him. This is because whoever narrates a hadith knowing it is a lie is one of the liars, and whoever intentionally lies should prepare his seat in Hellfire, unless he mentions it to warn against it.
