What is the meaning of Ali al-Madini's statement: "They abandoned the hadith of the two Amrs and the two Fahrs"? And does he mean Amr ibn Marzuq al-Bahili, despite the authentication of major scholars for him? And why did Al-Bukhari not narrate from him except in conjunction with others?

Scholars of al-jarh wa al-ta'dil (discrediting and accrediting narrators) differed concerning Amr ibn Marzuq. Yahya al-Qattan, al-Ijli, al-Daraqutni, and al-Hakim deemed him weak, while the majority, such as Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Yahya ibn Ma'in, Abu Hatim, and Ibn Sa'd, deemed him trustworthy. The statement attributed to Ali ibn al-Madini, from which his weakening can be understood, is not authentically attributed to him. As for al-Bukhari's not narrating from him except in conjunction with others, this may be due to his not meeting al-Bukhari's conditions, or his being influenced by the words of Yahya al-Qattan or Ibn al-Madini.
