Is it permissible to refrain from eating at a restaurant owned by supporters of Bashar al-Assad, knowing that they do not commit any offense against the Islamic religion?

Abstaining from eating at this restaurant is a matter of choosing what is better and seeking what is more befitting, keeping away from wrongdoers and their supporters. However, we do not consider eating there to be forbidden, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions engaged in buying and selling with Jews and disbelievers.
