Is it permissible for the mosque to hold the Dhuhr prayer instead of the Friday prayer on the first day of the blessed Eid al-Adha?

If Eid and Friday coincide on the same day, the preponderant view is that whoever attends the Eid prayer is permitted to skip the Friday prayer and pray Dhuhr instead. However, the Imam must still establish the Friday prayer for those who wish to attend it or for those who did not witness the Eid prayer. As for praying Dhuhr in congregation instead of Friday prayer on this day, that is an impermissible act.
