Is it permissible to adopt the view of the Hanafi school of thought concerning the issue of saliva reaching the lips during fasting, in order to alleviate the obsessive thoughts about wiping the lips after ablution for fear of swallowing saliva?

Hanafi jurists are of the view that swallowing saliva after it has reached the lips does not break the fast. Mucus expelled from the nose or mouth, which is inhaled or sniffed, is considered to have the same ruling as saliva; it does not invalidate the fast even if done intentionally, unless it is placed on the palm of the hand and then swallowed. Although caution dictates refraining from this to avoid disagreement, this school of thought offers ease and leniency.
