Was the Prophet Elias (peace be upon him) raised to heaven, just as Jesus (peace be upon him) was raised, or is the raising exclusive to Jesus (peace be upon him) alone, and the rest of the prophets have died?

There is no explicit evidence in the Qur’an or Sunnah that Elias (peace be upon him) was raised to heaven. The stories of his ascension are from the narratives of the People of the Book, which we are commanded neither to confirm nor deny. The more probable view is that Elias is a different prophet from Idris.
