Was Idris, the Prophet of God, raised to the heavens?

The ascent of Idris (peace be upon him) to heaven before his death has not been proven by an authentic narration, and what has been reported regarding it comes from the Israʼiliyat (Jewish traditions). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw him in the fourth heaven on the night of Al-Mi'raj (the ascension), and this was a vision of his spirit embodied in the form of his body. And the Almighty's saying: "And We raised him to a high station" refers to this vision.
