What is the ruling on returning greetings while performing ablution (Wudu')?
It is understood from the Hadith of Muhajir ibn Qunfudh that there is no harm in greeting a person performing ablution (wudu'). It is better for the person performing ablution to delay the reply until he finishes his ablution, if the one who offered the greeting is still present.
