Is it sunnah for one who is performing ablution to answer the call to prayer immediately upon hearing it?

The person performing ablution (Wudu') should respond to the muezzin (caller to prayer), because silence from anything other than remembrance (dhikr) is sunnah for him, and the remembrances for the limbs (of Wudu') are subject to difference of opinion regarding their commendability. As for responding to the muezzin, it is commendably agreed upon. If the completion of Wudu' coincides with the completion of the adhan, one should recite the remembrances of Wudu' first, giving them precedence over the remembrances of the adhan. Then, one should recite the two declarations of faith (shahadatayn) of Wudu', followed by the supplication of the adhan, and then supplicate for oneself.
