You are asking about the father of Al-Hajjaj, who is Yusuf ibn Al-Hakam ibn Abi Aqil: Amr ibn Mas'ud ibn Amir Al-Thaqafi.
If you are referring to Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf Al-Thaqafi, you can refer to history books such as "Al-Bidaya wa Al-Nihaya" by Ibn Kathir, "Tarikh al-Tabari," "Tarikh al-Dhahabi," and "Ibn al-Athir." There is also a brief biography of him in "Al-A'lam" by Al-Zirikli.
