What is the ruling on the money given by the "maddah" (eulogist/praiser) to the son of the "saa'i" (messenger/one who strives), and is it permissible to accept it or must it be given as charity?

Chanting accompanied by music is forbidden (haram (definition)), and the money earned from it is also forbidden. If the chanter has no other source of income, his brother should not accept money from him, except as an act of charity to be spent on the welfare of Muslims, and the chanter should be informed of this. However, if he has another lawful income, it is preferable not to accept it. If the money given is from the very source of forbidden wealth, then it is forbidden to accept it, unless the recipient is poor, in which case it is permissible for him to accept it. The brother should also advise his brother to abandon his forbidden work and repent to Allah.
