Why has supplication and raising one's hands become difficult, even though faith has increased, and how can this condition be remedied?

Every activity has a period of vigor followed by a period of decline. Supplication (Du'a) is one of the greatest acts of worship. Among the things that help one to increase in it is knowing its virtue and importance. A person must beware of self-praise and conceit, because it prevents one from seeking its remedy.
