Will the martyr intercede for seventy of his relatives who commit major sins and abandon prayer?

Determining what occurs in the hereafter requires evidence. The word "ahl" in the Quran, Sunnah, and language encompasses relatives, spouses, and children. It has been established that the martyr intercedes for seventy of his relatives, but intercession requires three conditions: Allah's pleasure with the intercessor and the one interceded for, and His permission for the intercessor. Major sins do not prevent intercession, and the intercession of the Prophet (peace be upon him) includes those among his Ummah who committed major sins, but disbelief prevents intercession. One who abandons prayer due to laziness is included in the general category of those for whom intercession is made according to the majority of scholars who do not consider him a disbeliever. However, one who denies the obligation of prayer is a disbeliever, and intercession will not benefit him.
