Is evil from the will of Allah Almighty?
Divine will is of two types: kawni qadariyya (universal, predetermined), which must inevitably occur, and can be good or evil; and shar'iyya diniyya (legislative, religious), which relates only to what Allah loves, and may or may not occur. Evil occurs by the universal will, not the legislative. All of Allah’s actions are based on wisdom, and there is nothing Allah has created that contains relative evil except that the benefit of its existence is greater than its harm. Evil is not attributed to Allah, but rather to His creations, for the Lord never does evil at all; rather, all His actions are good, benevolent, and wise. It is not polite to describe Allah as having willed evil for His servants, even though He is their Creator and Originator.
