Is there any scholar who considers the verse: {There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him...} abrogated by the verse: {Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion...} concerning peaceful disbelievers? And if it is not abrogated, then how can one reconcile showing enmity towards disbelieving parents while still showing them righteousness and maintaining kinship ties with disbelieving relatives and being just towards them, especially given the permissibility of marrying a woman from the People of the Book?
There is no indication that the first verse was abrogated by the second or by any other verse. The second verse is muhkam (clear and un-abrogated), as reported by Al-Qurtubi. Displaying enmity does not contradict righteousness, justice, and good treatment. It is sufficient that the disbeliever knows your dislike for his religion and that you despise him for the sake of Allah. This does not conflict with natural affection.
