What is the ruling on a wife who seeks divorce from her husband because he performs prayers at home, combining them, without going to the mosque?

Prayer is a great pillar of Islam, and whoever denies its obligation is an infidel by consensus. As for abandoning it out of negligence, there is a difference of opinion. Combining prayers is permissible in certain cases, but making it a habit without an excuse is forbidden and considered among the major sins. If the husband insists on being negligent with prayer by combining them without an excuse, the wife has the right to seek divorce from the court. She is not permitted to leave her home before the divorce ruling is issued, unless there is a legitimate excuse.
