Is it permissible for a paternal cousin, who is an adolescent (16 years old) and well-off, to work alone in a restaurant serving customers and wiping tables in order to increase her wealth, knowing that her goal is extravagance?

A woman's primary role is to remain in her home and manage its affairs and those of her children. Working outside the home does not suit her nature except out of necessity and with legitimate Islamic regulations, such as maintaining modesty and avoiding unlawful mixing [with men]. As for the girl mentioned, she must repent and leave her current job because it involves impermissible Islamic matters. She should remain in her home in gratitude for Allah's blessings, and her father must prevent her from engaging in such work.
