What is the ruling on taking sick leave without a real illness, when compelled to do so by family for reasons such as completing studies or the workplace being far away, and with the manager knowing that the leave is not legitimate? And is the salary received due to this leave considered unlawful money?

It is not permissible to defraud the work system and take sick leave without being ill, because Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats is not of us," and "Deceit and treachery are in the Hellfire." The manager's knowledge of the fake leave does not make it permissible.
