Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
Abu Bakr al-Siddiq is the best of the Ummah after its Prophet, and his following the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in all his sayings and actions does not diminish his status, but rather increases his honor and merit. This does not necessitate infallibility, as he is infallible from being confirmed in error, unlike other Companions.
