Is it permissible to mix red henna with black katam to change the color of a grey beard to black from a distance and dark brown up close?

The Sunnah is to change gray hair with henna, or with henna and katam. If one changes it with henna, it becomes yellow. If one changes it with henna and katam, it becomes a color between red and black. There is no harm in that.
