Frightening dreams are caused by Satan to grieve the believer, and the remedy for them is to maintain the remembrance of Allah before sleep. If a person sees something he dislikes, he should adhere to the Prophetic remedy, which is: seeking refuge with Allah from Satan and the evil of the dream, spitting lightly to his left three times, turning over from his side, praying, and not speaking about it to anyone. If he does these things, the dream will not harm him.
