Does hargous invalidate wudu'?

Harqous is a cosmetic substance. If no residue remains after washing, but only a color like henna, it does not affect wudu. However, if its residue remains, wudu is not valid unless it is removed, because it prevents water from reaching the skin. Applying harqous with residue does not invalidate wudu; rather, it prevents its validity. If a woman performs wudu and then applies it, her wudu is not invalidated.
