Should I make up the prayers I missed during the period of purity that interrupts menstruation, given that I was unaware of the obligation of ghusl and prayer during this time?

Scholars have differed regarding the purity (naqaa') that interrupts menstruation: is it a valid state of purity (talfīq, concatenation) or part of the menses (saḥb, dragging). Our preferred opinion is that of talfīq. However, if the opinion of saḥb is adopted, there is no harm due to the difficulty of redoing the prayers missed during the days of purity that interrupted the menstrual period. Al-Subki said: "It is permissible for the ignorant to follow an opinion, and to adopt a concession from the sayings of scholars, at times of need, without habitually seeking concessions." Therefore, there is no need to make up the prayers missed during the days of purity that interrupted menstruation in the past.
