What is the ruling on praying in the presence of a poor light reflector in front of the worshipper?

There is no harm in praying towards a Qibla that reflects light, as long as it does not cause distraction to the worshiper. However, if it causes distraction and occupies the heart from prayer, then praying towards it becomes disliked (makruh). This is based on the Sunnah's indication of the dislike of praying in the presence of anything that distracts the heart, as narrated in the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered the removal of a patterned garment (khamisah) because it distracted him from his prayer. From this, it can be inferred that anything that distracts from prayer, such as colors, patterns, and the like, is disliked.
