What is the ruling of the Sharia on requesting a percentage of profits in exchange for selling computers to different companies?

If officials ask you for something in exchange for giving someone else's right, such as favoring them in bids or compromising on quality, this is forbidden (haram) and it is a cursed bribe. However, if they demand money by exploiting their positions without right, this is forbidden for them according to the Almighty's saying: "And do not consume your properties among yourselves wrongfully." But if you cannot repel them except by giving them something, then there is no sin upon you.
