Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) like the color green?

There is no authentic narration proving that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved the color green. The narrations reported in this regard are weak due to the unreliability of their narrators. It has been reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wore two green cloaks, but merely wearing something does not indicate love or preference, as he would wear whatever was available to him. As for the color that was advised, it is white, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Wear white clothes, for they are among your best garments, and shroud your dead in them."
