What is the meaning of the word "Al-Sufahaa" from Surat Al-Baqarah, verse number 13?

Al-Baydawi mentioned in his Tafsir that "safah" (folly/foolishness) is applied to a lack of intellect and forbearance, and to what that entails of levity and unsoundness of opinion. He added that the hypocrites accused the believers of safah because they believed their opinion was corrupt, or to belittle their status, or to show resilience and indifference to those among them who believed.
