What is the meaning of "al-Qasawarah"?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
It appears the questioner means "qaswarah" with the letter 'seen'. In the Arabic language, this term refers to a lion, archers, a group of men, and anything formidable or feared. Allah Almighty says: (farrat min qaswarah) meaning: as if they were donkeys fleeing from one who startled them with a shot, or hunting, or something else. And their aversion from the truth is like wild donkeys fleeing from a lion.
