Is it possible for a suitor to be rejected due to a "tying" (prevention) from marriage among my female relatives, even though I do not suffer from this "tying"?
Delayed marriage might not be caused by magic (sihr), but if it is highly probable that magic is involved, then those affected must sincerely turn to Allah, asking Him for healing and for facilitating righteous spouses. They should diligently perform ruqyah (Islamic incantations) and the prophetic remembrances (adhkar). It is preferable for a woman to perform ruruyah upon herself, though she may seek help from trustworthy individuals. It is not necessary for the magic to affect others who are not afflicted. It is permissible in Islam for a woman to seek a husband and to seek assistance from trustworthy individuals in this regard.
