How is inheritance divided between three sons and one daughter?

If a person dies leaving only one daughter and three sons, their entire estate is distributed among them by way of ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the equivalent of two shares of a female, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." In this case, the inheritance is divided into seven shares: each son receives two shares, and the daughter receives one share.

It is advisable to refer inheritance matters to the Sharia courts to verify the absence of wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
