How is inheritance divided between 4 sons and 3 daughters?

If a person dies leaving four sons and three daughters, and no other heirs, the inheritance is distributed among them by 'ta'seeb' (agnatic succession), with the male receiving the share of two females, based on the Almighty's saying: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." The inheritance is divided into eleven shares: each son receives two shares, and each daughter receives one share. Cases of inheritance must be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation, as there might be other heirs, wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the rights of the inheritors.
