How is inheritance divided among 3 sons and 4 daughters?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

If the deceased leaves behind only four daughters and three sons, then the inheritance is to be divided among them by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), with the male receiving the share of two females, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: {Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females}. The inheritance is to be divided into ten shares: two shares for each son and one share for each daughter.

It must be noted that matters of inheritance are serious and complex. Therefore, it is advisable to refer such cases to Sharia courts or consult specialized scholars to verify all heirs, wills, debts, and other rights that may take precedence over the heirs' rights.
