Foreign men getting to know girls and conversing with them via social media is one of the steps of Satan and is forbidden Islamically, because it leads to indecency and evil. Islam has forbidden illicit relationships between foreign men and women, whether through pseudonyms or real names. Pseudonyms may be even more forbidden due to the cunning, deceit, and falsehood involved. A Muslim should utilize their time in what benefits them in their religion and worldly life and keep away from what Allah has forbidden.
