Is watching drunkards and bad things on TV forbidden?

It is not permissible to watch reprehensible acts on visual media, such as drinking alcohol and the like, because what is obligatory is to condemn and turn away from the reprehensible, not to follow it. It is forbidden to spectate the unlawful because it constitutes approval of it and assistance in sin. Looking at what is unlawful is itself unlawful. Therefore, whoever is afflicted by this should repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness.
