Does what actors do in TV series—such as reciting adhkar and portraying acts of worship—fall under the description of "those who took their religion as amusement and play, and whom the worldly life deluded"?

The ruling on actors uttering the word of Tawhid (Oneness of God), reciting the Quran, and performing Salat (prayer) in TV series varies depending on the series and its purpose.

If the series has a noble aim, such as educating people and correcting misconceptions, and is free from শরীয়াহ (Sharia) prohibitions, then there is no harm in it, and it might even be necessary. (Though there is a difference of opinion among contemporary scholars regarding the ruling on this type of acting).

However, if it is in low-quality series that aim for mere entertainment and play, then if the intention is mockery, the one who does it becomes an apostate. But if the intention is merely acting and imitation without mockery, then the verse "Say, 'Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?'" does not apply to them, because they did not take religion as a mockery.
