Is it permissible for the guardian of an orphan to take a small fee from the financial surplus?

An individual who works with an orphan's money to develop it, and is neither the orphan's guardian nor trustee, is permitted to take a wage for his work, regardless of whether there is a profit surplus or not. As for the orphan's guardian or trustee, they are not allowed to take anything from the orphan's money unless they are poor. In that case, they may partake of it "in a reasonable manner," or take the lesser of their wage or what is sufficient for them "in a reasonable manner."
