Does a conditional divorce, contingent upon doing something, take effect if the one who made the condition does not do it himself, but delegates someone else to do it, given that the condition was not uttered, and considering this to be an obsessive-compulsive thought?

Divorce does not occur as long as the questioner has not uttered the condition, because divorce does not happen by mere intention; rather, it must be pronounced. This is based on what Al-Bukhari narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has forgiven my Ummah for whatever crosses their minds, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it." Ibn Hajar said: "Divorce does not occur by intention alone, without utterance." The person afflicted with obsessive thoughts must turn away from these whispers and not indulge in them.
