The answer

Reviving the night of Eid includes performing acts of obedience such as remembrance [dhikr], supplication [du'a], recitation [tilawa], charity [sadaqa], and maintaining kinship ties [silat al-rahim]. It is recommended to revive the night of Eid with the remembrance of Allah, prayer, and other acts, based on the hadith: "Whoever revives the night of Eid, his heart will not die on the day hearts die," even though it is weak, leniency is granted in hadiths concerning virtuous deeds. It is sunnah to revive both Eid nights with worship. It was said: Revival is achieved by performing the 'Isha prayer in congregation and intending to perform the Fajr prayer in congregation. Ibn al-Haj stipulated that the revival should not take place in mosques or well-known places, but rather at home.
