Is the hadith regarding standing in prayer on the night of Eid authentic?

The hadith "Whoever stands in prayer on the nights of the two Eids, seeking Allah's reward, his heart will not die on the day hearts die" is weak and not authentically attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Al-Albani described it as fabricated. Similarly, the hadith "Whoever revives the night of Eid al-Fitr and the night of Eid al-Adha, his heart will not die on the day hearts die" is also weak. Al-Nawawi mentioned that all the chains of narration for these hadiths are weak, and Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah stated that the hadiths mentioned concerning the two Eid nights are a lie against the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Nevertheless, night prayer is legislated every night, and scholars have agreed upon the desirability of performing night prayer on the night of Eid, but the hadith reported concerning its virtue is weak.
